Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Developer / Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer / Integration Specialist for a 3+ month consulting engagement. This role will focus heavily on D365 F&O integrations, X++ development, EDI, and automation, supporting connections between Dynamics 365 and external warehouse and transportation systems.

This is a hands-on technical position requiring someone who has written and supported production-level X++ code within D365 F&O. The ideal candidate will also have experience building and troubleshooting integrations between D365 and external WMS and TMS platforms.

Location: Philadelphia, PA – Hybrid / Onsite as needed

Contract: 3+ Months

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) solutions and integrations.
• Support integrations between D365 F&O and external Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Develop and maintain X++ code within D365 F&O to support business processes, integrations, and custom functionality.
• Support EDI integrations to and from D365, including order ingestion and invoice delivery.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues, and exceptions across D365 and connected platforms.
• Develop scripts and monitoring processes that provide early alerts for system and integration exceptions.
• Build and maintain workflows and automation using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Utilize Power BI for reporting, monitoring, and operational visibility.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify issues and implement scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O experience.
• Demonstrated experience integrating D365 F&O with external WMS and TMS platforms.
• Strong, hands-on X++ development experience. Candidates must have experience writing functional production code within D365 F&O; an X++ certification alone is not sufficient.
• Experience with EDI integrations, particularly order ingestion and invoice delivery to/from D365.
• Experience developing scripts or automated exception-monitoring solutions to identify issues before they impact business operations.
• Strong experience with Power Automate and Power BI.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across ERP integrations, data flows, and business processes.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business teams.

Schedule / Location

This position is not fully remote. The consultant must be able to work onsite in Philadelphia as needed throughout the engagement. Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance of Philadelphia or able to accommodate periodic onsite requirements.
