Dynamics 365 F&O Developer

12 Months Contract

Remote – Must be UK based

£500 - £550 per day Outside IR35

Our client is expanding their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations programme and is looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Developer to join their delivery team.

You’ll design, build and support customisations and integrations across the platform, working closely with functional consultants, architects and business teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and/or Project Management and Accounting (PMA) would be a strong advantage.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing customisations and extensions in MD365 F&O following Microsoft’s extension model best practices
• Building and maintaining integrations between D365 F&O and other systems using Data Entities, OData, custom services, Logic Apps and Azure Functions
• Developing reports (SSRS and Electronic Reporting), workflows and batch jobs
• Supporting data migration using the Data Management Framework (DMF)
• Managing code, builds and deployments through Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS)
• Troubleshooting technical issues and improving system performance
• Turning functional designs into high-quality technical solutions with functional consultants
• Producing clear technical documentation and supporting testing, UAT and go-live

What you’ll bring

• Strong hands-on development experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or Dynamics AX 2012)
• A solid understanding of the F&O data model and extension framework
• Experience building integrations using Data Entities, OData and REST APIs
• Experience with Azure DevOps, LCS, source control and build and release pipelines
• At least one full-lifecycle D365 F&O implementation
• Good communication skills and experience working in Agile teams

Nice to have

• Development experience in SCM (inventory, warehousing, procurement, production) and/or PMA
• MB-500 Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer certification
• Experience with Dual-write and integration with Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps or Azure Data Factory
• AX 2012 to D365 F&O upgrade or migration experience
