Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant to join our team and support our clients in developing and making the most of their ERP solutions.

Our projects follow Microsoft’s current process-focused implementation approach. We use the Dynamics 365 Business Process Catalog (BPC) to structure business processes and scope, and apply Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap analysis to maximize the use of standard Dynamics 365 capabilities and limit unnecessary customizations.

As a consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their end-to-end business processes, conduct process and solution design workshops, identify requirements and gaps, and translate them into scalable solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analysing end-to-end business processes and requirements in the finance area
• Conducting Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap workshops with clients
• Working with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Process Catalog (BPC) to structure processes, requirements, scenarios, and solution scope
• Demonstrating standard Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities and helping clients adopt standard processes and best practices
• Identifying, documenting, and evaluating business requirements and solution gaps
• Configuring and designing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
• Preparing functional designs for requirements that cannot be addressed through standard configuration
• Participating in storyboard/scenario discovery, solution design, and detailed design workshops
• Supporting functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Preparing project documentation, process documentation, and user guides
• Collaborating with solution architects, developers, technical consultants, and other functional workstreams
• Supporting clients during data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities

Most of our work with clients is carried out remotely. Depending on the project, occasional business travel within Poland may be required.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or previous versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Practical knowledge of financial and accounting processes and how they are supported within ERP systems
• Hands-on experience in at least some of the following areas:

1. General Ledger
2. Accounts Payable
3. Accounts Receivable
4. Cash and Bank Management
5. Fixed Assets
6. Budgeting
7. Expense Management

• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions
• Independence and a proactive approach to analysing and solving problems
• Strong communication skills and confidence in conducting client meetings and workshops
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• English proficiency sufficient for working with technical and project documentation and communicating in a project environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Data Management Framework, Electronic Reporting, or integrations with external systems
• Experience working on international projects
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate certification
