Job Description: Microsoft Fabric AI Implementation Engineer

Role Overview -

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric AI Implementation Engineer who can help design and implement data and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric. The role is focused on building AI-ready data models, enabling Fabric-based AI use cases, and supporting business users with trusted insights through Power BI and conversational analytics.

Key Responsibilities -

• Design and implement data solutions in Microsoft Fabric using Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Pipelines, Notebooks, and semantic models.
• Build AI-ready data models that support accurate insights, business KPIs, and natural language analytics.
• Support AI implementation in Microsoft Fabric using Fabric Data Agents and related AI capabilities.
• Create Power BI dashboards and semantic models for business reporting and decision-making.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Fabric-based data and AI solutions.
• Ensure solutions follow basic data governance, access control, and security best practices.

Required Skills -

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:

• Lakehouse

• OneLake

• Data Pipelines

• Notebooks

• Semantic Models

• Experience or strong understanding of AI implementation in Microsoft Fabric, including Fabric Data Agents or conversational analytics use cases.

• Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering

• Microsoft Fabric

• GenAI LLMOps

• Snowflake AI/ML

Good to Have Skills -

• Exposure to real-time analytics or KQL databases in Microsoft Fabric.

• Experience building proof-of-concepts (POCs) or MVPs for data and AI use cases.

• Understanding of prompt engineering or AI agent concepts.

• Good knowledge of:

• Power BI semantic modeling

• DAX

• Dashboard development

• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python or PySpark.

• Understanding of data modeling, KPIs, business metrics, and data preparation for AI use cases.

• Basic understanding of Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or Azure AI Services.

• Ability to work with business and technical teams to deliver practical data and AI solutions.

Preferred Profile -

The ideal candidate should have hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience with the ability to implement data and AI use cases, build AI-ready semantic models, and support business reporting through Power BI. The candidate should be practical, solution-oriented, and comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders.
