MICROSOFT POWER APPS DEVELOPER / CONSULTANT — NYC

We’re looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Power Apps Developer / Consultant to join a Power Apps development team in New York City.

This is a major application modernization initiative involving the migration of 40+ existing SharePoint applications built with NINTEX Forms and NINTEX Workflows.

These applications will be fully redesigned and redeveloped in Microsoft Power Platform.

This is not a basic Power Apps development role.

We’re looking for someone who can understand existing business applications, redesign processes, build modern Power Platform solutions, integrate multiple data sources, and extend the platform with pro-code development when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Design & Customization

• Analyze existing SharePoint applications and additional user requirements
• Design and develop applications using Power Apps Canvas Apps and/or Model-Driven Apps

Business Process Automation

• Analyze existing NINTEX workflows
• Redesign and automate business processes using Power Automate

Data Integration

• Connect applications to diverse data sources using standard and premium connectors
• Work with Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs

Pro-Code Extensibility

• Develop custom solutions when low-code capabilities reach their limits
• Build custom components using the Power Apps Component Framework (PCF)
• Implement client-side JavaScript
• Develop server-side plug-ins
• Deploy specialized web elements and custom integrations

TECHNICAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Microsoft Power Platform

• High proficiency with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse

Power Fx

• Strong mastery of Power Fx, Microsoft's low-code formula language used across the Power Platform

Traditional Coding / Pro-Code

• JavaScript
• C#
• HTML/CSS
• JSON
• REST APIs
• Experience developing complex customizations and integrations

Database & Data Modeling

• Strong relational database knowledge
• SQL queries
• Schema design
• Entity relationships
• Data modeling

SharePoint & NINTEX

• Strong understanding of SharePoint applications
• Experience with NINTEX Workflows and NINTEX Forms
• Ability to analyze existing application designs and business processes in preparation for migration

ENGAGEMENT

Location: New York City
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Engagement: Consultant
