Microsoft Security Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking askilled and dedicated Microsoft Security Engineer with strong knowledge inMicrosoft System Center Configuration management to join our professionalservices team.

As a MicrosoftSecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients'Infrastructure and ensuring the security of their sensitive data.

You will beresponsible for implementing and managing Microsoft security solutions and itsunderlying Infrastructure, conducting threat assessments as well as providingexpertise in mitigating security threats and Infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities:
Deploy and maintain Microsoft security solutions to safeguard clients' Infrastructure from Cyber threats.

Implement security policies, standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Configure and manage Microsoft security, Infrastructure technologies, such as Sentinel, Defender and SCCM.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure system configurations and deployment of new devices and applications.

Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends and proactively recommend and implement appropriate countermeasures.

Provide technical guidance and support to the incident response team during security incidents and investigations.

Document security, system configurations, processes and procedures.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.

At least 4-7 years of working experience in Cybersecurity

Professional certifications for Microsoft related knowledge base.

Familiarity with managing/implementing Microsoft management platforms and tools at enterprise level.

Understanding of Microsoft operating systems and their security features.

Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (NIST, CIS) and their application for endpoint security.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve security and Infrastructure issues.

Familiar with Powershell scripting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
