Microsoft Specialist

We’re looking for a Microsoft support specialist to join a delivery-focused consultancy team, implementing and supporting Microsoft solutions across customer environments. This is a hands-on role working under the technical guidance of a Senior Consultant, with a clear pathway to progress into a Senior Consultant position.

What you’ll do

• Design, deploy, configure and migrate :
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager ( MECM )
• System Center Operations Manager ( SCOM )
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions and supporting infrastructure
• Deliver Microsoft 365 implementation tasks as part of customer projects, owning assigned workstreams with senior oversight.
• Configure, support and migrate core Microsoft 365 services including:
• Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, Intune, Defender, Entra ID
• Implement and configure Azure services across identity, compute, networking, security and management components.
• Support testing, validation, migration and cutover activity to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft cloud issues during delivery and early life support, escalating complex/non-standard scenarios when required.
• Produce clear technical documentation (implementation notes, configuration records, handover artefacts).
• Support discovery, technical assessments and readiness checks.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the consultancy practice.

What we’re looking for (essential)

• Hands-on delivery experience implementing Microsoft 365 solutions in customer environments.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• MECM, SCOM
• Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, Intune, Defender, Entra ID
• Azure : identity, compute, networking, security, management services
• Experience completing configuration, implementation and validation tasks within a guided project team.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to delivery and testing.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to customer-facing delivery.

Desirable experience

• Delivery of Teams Voice or enterprise collaboration solutions.
• Background in a consultancy, MSP or partner delivery environment.
• Exposure to solution design discussions or pre-sales support.
