Microsoft Systems & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

L2 technical support role for Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange, SQL Server Clustering, and Power Apps in a managed services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support for Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, Exchange, SQL Server Clustering, and Power Apps
• Conduct troubleshooting, technical investigation, root cause analysis, and problem solving
• Handle incidents and service requests according to the agreed SLA
• Coordinate and escalate complex issues to L3, vendors, or principals
• Communicate status, findings, solutions, and next actions to customers and internal teams
• Provide technical consultation and recommendations according to customer needs
• Provide recommendations for system improvement, optimization, preventive action, and Microsoft best practices
• Identify technical risks and develop preventive and corrective actions
• Support technical discussions and meetings with customers when needed
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting records, incident reports, and knowledge base

About you

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Microsoft Infrastructure, Cloud Support, or Managed Services
• Master Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, and Exchange Online/Exchange Server
• Experience with SQL Server Clustering & High Availability
• Understand Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate
• Master technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, log analysis, and PowerShell
• Understand the basics of networking: DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, ports, and connectivity
• Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Able to explain technical matters to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a managed services environment
