Job Posting: MicroStation Technician

Job Description: As a MicroStation Technician within our Utility Coordination Team, you will be responsible for utilizing your MicroStation expertise to create accurate and detailed utility designs, UBO drawings, and documentation. Working closely with other team members, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating smooth project execution, enhancing utility infrastructure, and contributing to the overall success of our utility coordination efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

➢ Utilize MicroStation software to produce precise utility designs, layout plans, and schematics.

➢ Collaborate with the utility coordination team to assist in the planning and execution of utility projects.

➢ Interpret and translate technical specifications and data into comprehensive drawings and documentation.

➢ Perform quality checks on utility designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

➢ Assist in data collection and analysis to support decision-making processes.

➢ Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to incorporate necessary design changes.

➢ Contribute to maintaining an organized and up-to-date database of utility records and drawings.

Requirements:

➢ Proven experience as a MicroStation Technician in utility design and coordination or related field (2-4 years’ experience preferred).

➢ Proficiency in using MicroStation software for utility design and documentation.

➢ Strong understanding of utility infrastructure, such as electricity, communications, gas, water, and sewer.

➢ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to utility design and coordination.

➢ Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in all work.

➢ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.

➢ Proactive problem solver with the capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

➢ Compliant and efficient with Open Roads specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year
