Job Title: MicroStrategy Lead / Architect

Note: Looking for a consultant from Apparel /Clothing Industry experience

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Lead / Architect with strong expertise in MicroStrategy BI, data warehousing, analytics, and retail/apparel domain. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise BI solutions, dashboards, reports, and semantic models supporting merchandising, sales, inventory, pricing, and supply-chain analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of MicroStrategy BI solutions.
• Design and maintain MicroStrategy schemas, attributes, facts, metrics, filters, prompts, reports, dossiers, and dashboards.
• Develop scalable BI solutions for retail and apparel business processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and optimize data models and analytical datasets for sales, inventory, merchandising, and supply-chain reporting.
• Perform MicroStrategy performance tuning, SQL optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate MicroStrategy with enterprise data warehouses such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor MicroStrategy developers.
• Ensure BI solutions follow enterprise architecture, security, governance, and development standards.

Apparel / Clothing Domain Expertise

Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred:

• Merchandising & assortment planning
• Store and e-commerce sales analytics
• Inventory and stock management
• Product/SKU and style-level analytics
• Pricing, markdowns, and promotions
• Customer and loyalty analytics
• Supply chain and distribution
• Vendor and purchase-order analytics
• Regional/store performance
• Omnichannel and e-commerce reporting

Required Skills

• 8+ years of MicroStrategy experience, with strong Lead/Architect-level expertise.
• Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy architecture and development.
• Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Developer, Web, Library, Dossiers, and administration.
• Strong SQL and data warehouse experience.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling and BI architecture.
• Strong understanding of ETL/data integration concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning and enterprise BI optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Retail/Apparel/Clothing industry experience is strongly preferred.
