MicroStrategy Report Developer

Role Description This is a remote contract role for a MicroStrategy Report Developer. The MicroStrategy Report Developer will design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports and dashboards that support business decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include gathering reporting requirements, building and optimizing report objects, performing data analysis to validate results, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure reports meet business needs. The role also involves working closely with data and ETL teams to ensure data quality, monitoring report performance, and documenting reporting solutions and standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Report Development skills in MicroStrategy, including designing reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
• Candidates should possess experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Modeling to support reliable and scalable reporting solutions.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with attention to data quality and performance optimization.
• Candidates should possess good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment and align with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Google Big Query would be very advantageous
• Relevant experience as a MicroStrategy developer or BI developer, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, are beneficial.
