Mid Java Engineer - Remote in México

YOUR ROLE:

You will participate in the development of enterprise applications using Java , Spring Boot , and Microservices architectures . Extensive experience in designing and implementing REST APIs , systems integration, and delivering solutions under Agile/Scrum methodologies . Quality-driven, with a strong focus on scalability and continuous improvement, and proven ability to collaborate effectively within global and cross-functional teams.

Main Activities:

-Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications.

-Build and support Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.

-Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams.

-Deliver production-ready code following secure coding standards for a Top Client in the Banking Sector.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Sciences or Equivant and 3-5+ years of experience
• Backend Development Experience: Java (11+) , Spring Boot , Microservices Architecture, , Hibernate/JPA, Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns
• Strong REST API Development Experience
• Agile delivery experience
• Conversational English.

Nice-to-have (extra) skills:

• Apache Kafka
• Database: PostgreSQL, SQL Query Optimization, Database Design
• Cloud & Containerization: Cloud (preferably GCP), Docker, Kubernetes
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Integration Testing, API Testinger
