Location: Remote India

Duration: 12+ month contract

Mid Level C2M Developer About the Role We're looking for a Mid-Level Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M) Developer to support the configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of a utility customer and billing platform. You'll work with business analysts, functional teams, and fellow developers to build and support solutions across the customer, billing, and meter-to-cash lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements and fixes within Oracle C2M (or CC&B)
• Build and configure algorithms, business objects, batch processes, BPA scripts, service scripts, and UI maps
• Develop and support integrations with related systems (e.g., MDM, SOM, payment, and outage systems)
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects
• Participate in requirements reviews, code reviews, and testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT)
• Document technical designs and configuration changes

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of hands-on development experience with Oracle C2M (preferred) or Oracle CC&B
• Strong knowledge of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)
• Experience with Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases
• Experience with configuration tools: business objects, algorithms, scripting, and batch jobs
• Solid understanding of utility billing and customer lifecycle processes
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a large utility (electric, gas, or water)
• Exposure to C2M implementations or CC&B-to-C2M upgrades/migrations
• Familiarity with Oracle MDM, SOM, or integration tools (SOA, OIC, REST/SOAP web services)
• Experience working in Agile environments
