Mid Level Financial Analyst

Brief Objective of the Role:

Support sell side analysts from the on shore team, who are part of the research department of one of the top investment banks worldwide, by meeting their financial and qualitative information requirements across multiple sectors such as TMT, Energy, Real Estate, Automotive, Consumer, Healthcare and Banking for various companies across different geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Follow global industries/markets and analyze multinational companies to enable our clients to make sound investment decisions.
2. Independently conduct background research and document the findings and conclusions in the form of investment research reports.
3. Build, update, and maintain financial models.
4. Update periodical reports and manage databases.
5. Analyze macroeconomic, sector, and summarize news.
6. Other Research: Researching technical publications, regulatory frameworks, and analytical research.
7. Market Analysis: Sourcing of market data such as share prices, currency rates, ratios from multiple third party data sources.

General Responsibilities:

1. Implement and act in accordance with Acuity Knowledge Partners’ Information Security Policy.
2. Identify risks when working with external parties.
3. Ensure information security when dealing with customers.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar career.
2. 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis or similar career. Experience in the investment research industry is a plus.
3. English, oral and written knowledge at fluid level is a must.
4. Advanced level knowledge of Excel.
5. Strong with financial statement analysis, finance modelling and valuation.
6. Comfortable in handling databases.
7. Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus
