4M Research is seeking a

• Mid-Level Linux Systems Administrator* to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

The Administrator will be responsible for implementing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), maintaining system compliance artifacts, and conducting day-to-day system operations in support of mission requirements and supporting program needs. The Administrator shall support system build-out and sustainment activities associated with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation of an Army Program of Record. Tasks include updating documentation (e.g., System Security Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan), performing FISMA-required artifact maintenance, conducting vulnerability assessments using approved tools, and supporting the Government with the management of POAandM items within eMASS.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ years professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience applying DoD STIGs and performing system hardening activities.
• Experience supporting virtualized environments, particularly RHEL OpenShift.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent in accordance with DoD 8570.01.
• SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience conducting STIG and SRG assessments using DISA-approved tools.
• Familiarity with RMF processes, NIST security controls, and eMASS workflows.
• Experience administering additional Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Working knowledge of foundational networking concepts applicable to Linux systems.
• TS/SCI security clearance.
