Mid-Level Litigation Associate

The Birmingham office of Holland & Knight has an immediate opportunity for a litigation associate with 3-5 years of transferrable experience for its fast-paced, multi-faceted litigation practice group. The ideal candidate should have significant experience with litigation procedure, including drafting motions, and experience managing discovery in complex cases. The candidate must have an exceptional academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability and desire to interface directly with clients and opposing counsel. Case workload will include commercial, regulatory, and litigation matters. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, a deep commitment to client service, community involvement, and the ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize matters is essential.

Candidates must reside in the Birmingham, AL area at or prior to the time of hire and must be licensed to practice law in Alabama. This role should consider their default working location to be in the office and will be expected to be onsite full time and no fewer than three business days per week.

This position will be filled in Alabama, and the pay range for this position is $250,000 – $315,000/yr. This range may not be applicable to other positions in other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
