Mid Level Security Operation Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist to support the delivery of critical cyber security operations and resilience initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role will play a key part in strengthening security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and security governance capabilities across a complex technology landscape.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing uplift of cyber security maturity, working across multiple workstreams including security operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support cyber security incident response activities
• Monitor, investigate and analyse security events and threats
• Conduct threat hunting and support threat intelligence initiatives
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation activities
• Support security investigations and digital forensic activities
• Enhance security monitoring, detection capabilities and operational processes
• Partner with internal teams and managed security providers to improve security outcomes
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security controls and standards

About You
You will bring strong experience as a Senior Security Specialist working within complex enterprise environments, with the ability to manage security incidents, investigations, stakeholder engagement, and operational security initiatives while maintaining a proactive approach to cyber risk management.

Essential Experience

• Security Operations experience
• Incident Response and Security Investigations
• Threat Detection, Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence
• Vulnerability Management and Risk Mitigation
• SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk
• Microsoft Defender security technologies
• Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks and best practices
• Experience working within large and complex technology environments

Highly Regarded

• Digital Forensics experience
• Exposure to Zero Trust security principles
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• SASE, SD-WAN and modern security architectures
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
• Relevant cyber security certifications
