Job Summary:

Builds data pipelines and transformations within Snowflake under senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ELT pipelines, transformations, and scheduled tasks.
• Write and tune SQL queries and stored procedures against defined specifications.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution.
• Document data lineage, transformation logic, and operational runbooks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Two (2) years of specialized experience may substitute for one (1) year of the academic requirement.
• Minimum Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of data engineering or Snowflake development experience.
• Certifications — Obtainable After Hire: SnowPro Core Certification, within 90 days of assignment.
• Certifications — Preferred: dbt Analytics Engineering Certification; AWS or Azure data fundamentals certification.
• Required Skills: Snowflake SQL; data loading and transformation; data modeling fundamentals; Git; Agile delivery.
• Preferred Skills: dbt; Python scripting; cloud storage integration; data quality tooling.

Technical Environment

Snowflake SQL and worksheets; Snowpipe and COPY INTO loading; dbt models and tests; Python scripting; Apache Airflow task scheduling; Amazon S3 or Azure Data Lake Storage; Git; Jira.
