Mid Level -Sr. Accountant

Position: Mid-Sr. Level Accountant

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Employment Set Up: 100% Remote

Shift Schedule: Graveyard Shift (US Time Zone - CST Hours)

Responsibilities for this position will include:

• Record monthly journal entries related to revenue, adjustments, expenses, fixed assets, etc., as needed
• Reconciliations of various accounts
• Reporting for business units on financials and KPIs
• Support for data requests for the financial compilation and tax return
• Support for process improvements for Finance team
• Ad-hoc financial analysis for use by management in decision making
• Managing customer collections
• Managing the expense report reimbursement process
• Processing vendor invoices and generating customer invoices
• Processing vendor and other payments
• Assisting with commission calculations
• Assisting with the month-end close packet preparation
• Ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree with 2-3 years work experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong self-motivated individual with excellent analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability and comfort level communicating with senior management and clients
