Job responsibilities :

-            Understand relevant project documentation, business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria to define appropriate testing scope and coverage.

-            Design, develop, review, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, test data, test evidence, and other required test documentation using approved tools and repositories.

-            Execute test cases for functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, user acceptance, and other applicable testing activities in accordance with agreed test plans and schedules.

-            Identify, log, prioritize, and report defects; define severity and priority, support defect triage, verify fixes, and escalate defects or testing risks as needed.

-            Define appropriate tests and test data to support reproducible and consistent testing across different scenarios, inputs, and expected outcomes.

-            Contribute to test strategy, QA plans, status reporting, RAG updates, risk and issue identification, and continuous improvement initiatives.

-            Prioritize assigned testing activities to support efficient and timely execution of testing deliverables.

-            Review test cases prepared by Junior Test Analysts, provide guidance and coaching, and support knowledge sharing within the testing team.

-            It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Must Have Skills :

-            Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related testing role (Manual testing)

-            Working knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, or similar tools.

-            Has practical experience of Agile methods e.g Scrum, Kanban and their practices and ceremonies

-            Basic understanding of non-functional testing, API testing, usability testing, test automation, continuous testing, continuous delivery, release and change management, agile methods, and collaboration tools.
