Middle Office Support Associate

Our client is a Top Tier Asset Management group, they are looking for a Middle Office Support Associate to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide live operational assistance to Portfolio Managers and Traders, resolving trade booking, allocation, and settlement issues quickly and accurately.
• Manage daily fund operations, including trade bookings, trade matching, failed trade investigations, and daily P&L reconciliations.
• Act as the primary point of contact with prime brokers, executing brokers, and fund administrators to resolve trade breaks and operational discrepancies.
• Continuously review operational workflows, identifying opportunities to automate tasks and optimize efficiency.
• Monitor and perform daily collateral and margin reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of listed financial products.
• Proficiency in VBA or programming languages is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
