Middle School Humanities Long Term Substitute

Position Long Term Substitute-Middle School Humanities Teacher****Qualifications: Bachelors DegreeClassroom or related experience with children ages 10+MA DESE License preferred Salary$125.00 per day, $150.00 per day after 20 consecutive daysEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior teaching experience or related experience with children ages 10+ and the ability to contribute meaningfully to grade-level. Candidates must have excellent writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work with independence in dealing with the diverse elements of the academic environment.Instructional:

• Employs a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom
• Prepares, conducts and delivers motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum, child development, and student abilities
• Encourages an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the students
