Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive math instruction aligned with curriculum standards, covering topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and differential equations.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and incorporate educational technology to enhance student engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior proactively to create a positive learning environment conducive to academic growth.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and tutoring sessions.
• Integrate IT tools and digital resources into lessons to facilitate interactive learning experiences.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum implementation, instructional design, and assessment strategies to ensure consistency across grade levels.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to support students’ personal development and educational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations in compliance with educational regulations.
• Engage in professional development opportunities related to classroom management, teaching science subjects such as biochemistry or microbiology, and research laboratory techniques.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive educational community.

Experience

• Proven experience teaching middle school mathematics or related STEM subjects in a classroom setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that incorporates advanced topics like calculus, organic chemistry, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, and biochemistry.
• Strong classroom management skills with experience working with teenagers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools such as learning management systems (LMS), interactive whiteboards, and digital assessment platforms.
• Experience working in private or Montessori school environments is advantageous.
• Background in scientific research or laboratory experience related to biology or chemistry enhances instructional delivery.
• Prior involvement in curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and implementing IT-integrated lessons is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles while maintaining high standards of educational compliance and regulation understanding.
