Math Tutor Needed (6th Grade) – In-Home Tutoring Position
Great Thinkers Learning Academy

Great Thinkers Learning Academy is seeking a qualified and caring Math Teacher or Teaching Assistant to provide in-home math tutoring for a 7th grade student.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who enjoys one-on-one instruction and helping students build confidence in math.

Position Details

• Student Level: 7th Grade
• Subject: Math
• Location: Student’s home (local travel required)
• Schedule: 2 sessions per week
• Session Length: 30 minutes per session

Requirements

• Teaching certification or Teaching Assistant certification (required)
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Strong understanding of 7th grade math concepts
• Patient, encouraging, and reliable
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to student needs

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized math instruction aligned to the student’s needs
• Support skill-building, homework help, and concept mastery
• Communicate progress and challenges with Great Thinkers Learning Academy
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment
