MIDDLE UI PROGRAMMER

About This Position SportSpired Games is looking for a Middle UI Programmer to develop and implement user interfaces for our next-generation AAA sports simulator.

In this role, you will work hands-on with Unreal Engine, building UI features for PC and Console, collaborating closely with UI/UX Designers and Gameplay Programmers, and contributing to the evolution of our UI architecture.

SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, MY.GAMES, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft, and EA Sports. We are currently working on a large-scale AAA title planned for release in 2028–2029.

Responsibilities

• Implement game UI in Unreal Engine using UMG based on design specifications
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX Designers and Gameplay Programmers to bring UI features into the game
• Work within the existing UI architecture and contribute to its ongoing development
• Profile and optimize UI performance, debug issues, and fix bugs
• Develop and maintain UI across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation
• Participate in regular playtests and iterate on UI based on in-game results

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional UI development experience, preferably in the game industry
• 1+ years of hands-on UI development experience with Unreal Engine
• Strong knowledge of UMG and basic familiarity with Slate
• Strong C++ skills and solid software engineering fundamentals
• Ability to navigate and work effectively with an existing codebase
• Experience with UI architecture and design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or similar
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
