Middle/Senior Manual Tester

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, and business analysts) to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements to develop detailed test plans. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and ensure timely resolution. Mentor junior testers, providing guidance on test design, execution, and best practices. Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and documentation to enhance efficiency and quality. Provide clear and concise testing reports to stakeholders, ensuring visibility into the QA process and product quality.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in software testing with a focus on manual testing. Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle). Expertise in test case design, test planning, and defect management. Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Solid understanding of different testing techniques (black-box, smoke, sanity, regression, exploratory, usability testing). Familiarity with APIs and basic database queries (SQL) is an advantage. Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
