Your Task

• Maintenance, development and optimization of cybersecurity solutions.
• Risk analysis and recommendation of risk mitigation measures.
• Deploy and configure IT and network infrastructure protection mechanisms.
• Collaborate in the design of secure architectures for new services and systems.
• Monitoring of security status and analysis of security events and incidents.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Participation in projects related to the security of the cloud, network, endpoints and digital identity.
• Preparation of technical documentation, procedures and safety standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and software development teams.
• Participate in breach analysis, security testing and cybersecurity exercises.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Higher technical education (computer science, telecommunications, cybersecurity or related fields).
• Good knowledge of issues related to the security of networks, operating systems and applications.
• Experience in the administration or maintenance of security solutions.
• Knowledge of technologies such as:
  • Firewall NGFW,
  • IDS/IPS,
  • EDR/XDR,
  • WHARF,
  • VPN,
  • YES/SOAR.
• Knowledge of issues related to vulnerability management and risk analysis.
• Ability to analyze logs and security events.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS network protocols.
• Ability to create scripts that automate work (PowerShell, Python or Bash). Communicative knowledge of English.
• Welcomed:
• Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, or Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls or ISO 27001.
• Industry certifications, e.g.:
  • Security+,
  • GUILD,
  • SC-200,
  • SC-300,
  • AZ-500,
  • CISP,
  • GIAC.

For the Cyber Security team at TMPL, we are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer who will be responsible for the development, maintenance and improvement of security solutions protecting telecommunications infrastructure, IT systems, cloud environments and customer data.

We are looking for a person who combines technical knowledge with a practical approach to security and wants to have a real impact on the protection of one of the largest telecommunications environments in Poland.
