About us
At the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM), we envision a world where every woman, newborn and adolescent has access to a competent and autonomous midwife, and every midwife is enabled to provide equitable, inclusive, and rights-based care. We champion and advance midwives’ associations and the profession of midwifery globally by setting and implementing the Global Standards for Midwifery. We advocate for midwives as the most appropriate primary health professionals for sexual, reproductive, maternal, adolescent, and newborn care.
ICM is an equal opportunity employer, and as the global voice of midwives it is important that our staff represent the diversity of our membership. We are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion and welcome applications from all backgrounds, particularly underrepresented groups. Applicants will be assessed fairly against the role requirements, without discrimination based on ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
