Job Summary

Custom Machine Works is seeking a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our 1st Shift team. The ideal candidate will have welding and fabrication experience and be able to work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce quality parts and assemblies. Welding school graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
• Fabricate, assemble, and finish parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and assemblies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules
• Follow all company safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Welding school or vocational training will be considered as relevant experience
• MIG welding experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing or job shop experience is a plus
