Role: Migration Engineer.

Location: Malaysia.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Define the overall migration strategy and approach from source to target systems both in CoMP and respective network services and, including sequencing, waves and cutover plan.
• Own detailed data mapping between source and target charging platforms, working with Platform owners who hold source/target system knowledge.
• Design and manage the migration process, extraction, transformation, load (ETL), validation and reconciliation.
• Plan and execute mock migrations / dress rehearsals, capturing lessons and refining the approach ahead of production cutover.
• Define and drive data cleansing, validation and reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated data.
• Develop the production cutover plan and rollback strategy, including go/no-go criteria and downtime management.
• Ensure migrated data is available and validated to support Dry Run.
• Manage migration risks, data integrity, reconciliation gaps, downtime and PDPA / data-privacy compliance.
• Coordinate migration activities across Platform, Infrastructure, Network and 3PP vendors, and report progress to the PM and Steering Committee.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Deep understanding of source-to-target data migration on connectivity platforms such MCS/CoMP or BSS/CRM data migration
• Strong telco network service migration involving change in online network policy and online charging platforms such as PCRF, OCS.
• Preferably worked on migration project involving ZTE as core network vendor.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to data integrity.
• Ability to plan and execute complex cutovers under tight timelines.
• Effective coordination across platform, infrastructure, network and vendor teams.
• Clear risk management and reporting to senior stakeholders.
