Mill Manager / Supervisor

We are a busy lumber yard with milling and finishing on site. We are interested in an individual who is looking for a rewarding career who can learn new skills and grow within the company. We take pride in the products we manufacture and sell.

Duties:

• Planer / Rip Saw / Moulder
• Experience with Weining equipment
• Lead the milling team operations
• Producing and grading finished wood products
• Safe and expedient operation of equipment with precise attention to detail
• Ability to perform full setup and change over from one profile to the next
• Follow established procedures in the execution of daily tasks
• Visual and measurement quality checks
• Clean parts and machines in-process
• Trouble shooting issues with your machine to fix problems / schedule maintenance if required
• Perform necessary machine maintenance
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Follow all safety procedures

• Rip Saw Operator: 5 years (preferred)
• Weining Moulder experience: 5 years (preferred)
• Planer experience
• Re-saw experience
• Supervisory: 5 years (preferred)

Wages:

• Negotiable based on experience
