Essential Functions

• Moving products safely with forklift
• Able to lift to 50lbs consistently
• Computer literate
• Mechanically inclined / Fabrication a plus.
• Willing to get dirty!
• Assist in implementing the packaging schedule as defined by the Operations Manager and/or General Manager.
• Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance Assist in the training of seasonal/temporary employees to ensure a quality product is realized in a timely and efficient manner
• Use online evaluative methods to identify and issues relating to ongoing conditioning operations and suggest or take appropriate action to remedy with the approval of the Operations Manager.
• Ensure all documentation for process is accurate and complete
• Actively support and enforce Vikima USA policies including Vikima USA’s safety and health policy
• Maintaining accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, as well as knowledge of general and preventative maintenance procedures
• Extended hours, night and weekends required at times
• Assist in other areas or departments as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Always focus on housekeeping to ensure a safe and productive work environment
• Licenses as required by Vikima USA
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of Mechanical, Low Voltage
• Forklift trained/certified
• Able to lift to 50lbs consistently
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct them
• Basic computer skills including database systems and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Additional licenses may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
