Mill Wright Technician

We are looking for an experienced Millwright Fitter / Mechanical Technician with strong experience in the cement manufacturing industry for one of the our client based in Qatar.

The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, dismantle, and maintain mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Carry out alignment of rotating equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintain and troubleshoot rotating and stationary equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and equipment manuals.
• Perform maintenance activities during planned plant shutdowns.
• Work on equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, fans, compressors, crushers, mills, and other cement plant machinery.
• Ensure proper equipment alignment and smooth operation after maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) requirements, and company safety standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure safe working practices at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade.
• Minimum 10 years of related mechanical maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Cement Industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in plant shutdown and turnaround maintenance.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and LOTO compliance.

Salary QAR 2000 plus FAT OT Applicable
