Job Summary – Milling Machine Operator

We are hiring an experienced Milling Machine Operator to operate and set up conventional/CNC milling machines for machining engineering and heavy machine components. The candidate should have good knowledge of milling operations, engineering drawings, cutting tools, and measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up Milling Machine / Vertical Milling Machine / Horizontal Milling Machine.
• Perform milling, facing, slotting, keyway, drilling, tapping and boring operations.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and set appropriate cutting tools, fixtures and machining parameters.
• Properly align and clamp workpieces before machining.
• Check dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Handle heavy components safely during loading and unloading.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve production targets.
• Follow machine safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.

Preferred Experience:
2–8 years of experience as a Milling Machine Operator / Conventional Milling Operator / CNC Milling Operator in heavy engineering, machine manufacturing or machine-tool industries.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
