Milling operator

• Supervise the complete rice milling process from paddy intake to finished rice packing.
• Operate and monitor milling machinery such as pre-cleaner, destoner, husker, paddy separator, whitener, silky polisher, grader, color sorter, elevators, and related equipment.
• Ensure proper machine settings to achieve required rice quality and recovery.
• Monitor milling yield, broken percentage, bran, husk, and other by-products.
• Maintain production targets and minimize process losses and downtime.
• Inspect paddy and milled rice quality at different stages of production.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team to maintain required quality standards.
• Supervise mill operators, helpers, and other production workers.
• Allocate manpower according to production requirements and shift schedules.
• Ensure proper cleaning and housekeeping of the milling section.
• Identify machine abnormalities and coordinate with the Maintenance Department for timely corrective action.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime records, and milling performance reports.
• Ensure safe operation of all milling machinery and compliance with company safety procedures.
• Control unnecessary wastage of raw materials, electricity, water, and other resources.
• Coordinate with stores, maintenance, quality, and packing departments for smooth production.
• Train operators on correct machine operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene requirements, and food-safety standards.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
