Milling Specialist

• Experience in CAD/CAM programming including
• Program development experience; preferred with Catia V5 and

NREC MAX-PAC

• Tool and holder selection for different product types
• Clamping/fixture selection and design
• Knowledge in operation Siemens 840D control units for milling machines
• Self responsible CAD/CAM programming of 3- and 5-axis programs as well as program test and introduction into prototype and serial production
• Establish and maintain contact to customers for clearance of technical questions
• CAD programming (Catia V5 preferred), e.g. fixture design
• Automotive prototyping experience and serial production, compressor wheel manufacturing preferred
• Good communication skills
• Good communication skills in English both oral and written for contact with international partners Tasks
• Develop prototype manufacturing process, equipment, fixtures for new project or capacity extension project to ensure that the manufacturing process conforms to customer requirements
• Select/Design/optimize equipment and its process, fixtures and tools
• Provide/update suitable SOP for specific products in close communication with local project and engineering management
• Provide basic process documentation for self-developed processes
• Continuous process improvement
• Provide milling-machine control training for production co-workers and training for new product programs and processes
