Millwork Designer

Prepare accurate CAD shop drawings for custom millwork, ensuring production readiness, material details, and seamless team coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Create 2D/3D CAD designs and detailed construction drawings for custom millwork.
• Prepare accurate shop, production, fabrication, and CNC drawings for manufacturing.
• Develop cost-effective, practical designs aligned with project requirements and design intent.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.
• Review drawings, submittals, and RFIs while ensuring compliance with company and manufacturing standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in retail fit-out, custom joinery, or commercial millwork.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, millwork construction, joinery, manufacturing, and installation processes.
• Proficient in CAD/Vectorworks, Adobe CS, CNC files, SketchUp, production art, and 3D detailing.
