About the Position

Diamond Millworks, a division of Blue Diamond Design & Build, is seeking an experienced Lead Millwork Installer to join our growing team.

We specialize in high-end residential custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and commercial casework. We need a skilled, dependable professional who takes pride in precision craftsmanship, can lead an installation crew, and consistently delivers exceptional finished work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation of high-end residential cabinetry, custom millwork, and commercial casework.
• Install kitchens, vanities, built-ins, wall paneling, decorative trim, and architectural millwork.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural plans, and installation details.
• Perform field measurements, layout, leveling, scribing, fitting, and final adjustments.
• Supervise installers and maintain quality and productivity.
• Troubleshoot field conditions and resolve installation challenges.
• Coordinate with project managers, shop production, and other trades.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.
• Ensure installations are completed on schedule and meet our quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, or commercial casework preferred.
• MUST own and maintain a complete set of professional cabinet and millwork installation tools, including power tools, hand tools, levels, lasers, and specialty installation equipment.
• Strong finish carpentry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with high-end residential installations and commercial projects.
• Ability to read shop drawings and work independently.
• Experience leading crews or managing installations.
• Reliable transportation capable of transporting personal tools.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities.
