Millwork Woodworker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Millwork Woodworker to join our team, specializing in the construction, and finishing of custom wooden furniture, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork. The ideal candidate will have experience working with power tools, woodworking machines, and interpreting construction plans to produce high-quality millwork products. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of residential carpentry and frame carpentry to meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction plans to accurately understand project requirements.
• Use power tools and woodworking machinery such as CNC routers, spindle molders, edgebanders, and other heavy equipment to cut, shape, and assemble wood components.
• Operate hand tools for detailed woodworking tasks and trim carpentry.
• Select appropriate wood construction materials based on project specifications.
• Fabricate custom wooden furniture, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform framing and structural carpentry tasks related to millwork projects.
• Finish products through sanding, staining, sealing, or painting to achieve desired aesthetics.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols when handling machinery and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in woodworking, millwork, or carpentry with a focus on custom furniture or architectural woodwork.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
• Skilled in operating power tools such as saws, drills, routers, and other woodworking machinery.
• Knowledge of trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques.
• Familiarity with woodworking materials including various types of wood used in residential construction.
• Ability to interpret 3D renderings and spatial layouts for accurate fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
