Millwright (433A)

Hart Pump Service has been fixing pumps in the GTA since 1983. We service, rebuild and install pumps, motors and the rotating equipment around them for commercial buildings, plants, condos and municipal sites.

What you'll do

• Pull, rebuild and reinstall pumps on site and in our shop: end suction, split case, vertical turbine, submersible, boosters
• Laser and dial alignment, bearing and seal replacement, coupling and base work, vibration checks
• Troubleshoot 3-phase motors, starters and VFDs alongside our techs and electricians
• Rig and move equipment safely in tight mechanical rooms. Plan the lift before you touch it
• Write clear service reports with photos from your tablet before you leave the site

What you need

• Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification. Red Seal is a plus. Strong industrial mechanics working toward the ticket will be considered at the lower end of the range
• 3 or more years of hands-on rotating equipment work: pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, compressors
• Precision alignment experience you can describe without looking it up
• Comfortable working alone at a customer site and talking to the building operator in plain English
• Valid G licence with a clean abstract. Rigging, forklift and confined space tickets are a plus

What you get

• $36 to $48 per hour
• Days only. No rotating shifts, no nights. Time and a half after 44 hours. Standby pay when you carry the phone

Pay: $36.00-$48.00 per hour
