MILLWRIGHT

The Millwright is responsible for the installation, assembly, alignment, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The role ensures that equipment operates efficiently by performing precision alignment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle, assemble, and align industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and other rotating equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify mechanical issues requiring repair or replacement.
• Perform precision alignment, adjustment, and installation of mechanical components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and mechanical specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to complete assigned work efficiently.
• Perform other mechanical maintenance duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Millwright Certificate or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a Millwright in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or power plant environments.
• Knowledgeable in machinery installation, alignment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and mechanical tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Willing to work on-site and render overtime when required.
