Millwright Mechanic

We are looking to add Millwrights to our team. Your primary role will be to repair, install, dismantle, maintain, and move machinery/heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment such as conveyors, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and pumps.
• Uses hand tools, rigging, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines.
• Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve machine issues
• Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting equipment inspections.
• Disassembles or dismantles machines.
• Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to allow them to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints
• As needed, signal crane and lift operators, indicating where to put machinery.
• Performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on older machines.
• Plans and facilitates installation of new or refurbished machinery, which may include building platforms and foundations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in construction, industrial, and commercial settings (Required)
• High school diploma/GED (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• CDL License (Preferred)
• OSHA (Preferred)
• MSHA (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid (Preferred)
• Rigging/Signal (Preferred)

Compensation:

• $22.00 – $30.00 Per hour
