• Skilled industrial millwrights responsible for the installation, alignment, assembly, maintenance, and repair of heavy industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Millwrights ensure equipment is properly installed and maintained to operate safely and reliably.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Installation and removal of industrial machinery and equipment
• Precision alignment of motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and rotating equipment
• Mechanical troubleshooting and breakdown repair
• Conveyor installation, repair, and tracking
• Bearing, pulley, shaft, coupling, and gearbox replacement
• Rigging, lifting, and positioning of heavy equipment
• Welding, fabrication, and structural repairs
• Equipment leveling and installation
• Preventive and predictive maintenance
• Reading mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and layouts
• Shutdown and turnaround maintenance
• Startup assistance and equipment commissioning
• Maintaining OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
