The Role Reporting To The Senior Mine Geologist - Underground, You Will Provide The Production Geology Support That Keeps Our Underground Operation Safe, Efficient And On Track To The Mine Plan, Including

• Mapping and sampling development headings and keeping reference plans up to date
• Daily production tracking, stockpile and heading management, and reconciliation of mined material
• Planning and managing underground diamond and sludge drilling, logging core and chips, and guiding technicians through sampling and dispatch
• Working with the mining team to maximise ore recovery and minimise dilution, and mentoring graduate geologists and technicians

About You We’re Looking For Someone Who Brings

• A Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geosciences
• Mine geology experience, ideally within an underground gold operation
• Confident use of Surpac, Micromine and Leapfrog, and experience designing grade control drilling programs
• Sound knowledge of Archean greenstone gold systems and mining production reporting
• A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
