Mine Planning Engineer

Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to the Mine Planning and Engineering Manager, the Planning Engineer is accountable and responsible for preparation of medium and long term mine plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly mine plans which will be discussed with the Project Manager and presented to client.

2. Compare planned vs. actual material movement and prepare monthly report on the Project adherence to the agreed mine plan.

3. Maintain an updated database for all the projects mine plans and quarry updates.

4. Prepare, generate and secure plants that will be used in the corporate office as a basis for Project bids and proposals

5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Must be a Registered Mining Engineer.

2. At least three (3) years related work experience preferably in mining or quarry industry.

3. AutoCad and Surpac literate or any mining engineering software.

4. Knowledgeable in plotting maps.

5. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;

6. Creative, forward thinker.

7. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets

8. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

9. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

10. A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely manner.

Willing to work in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
