Mine Technical Services Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead Mine Technical Services covering mine planning, geology & grade control, survey, geotechnical/water controls and reconciliation.
• Manage short-, medium- and long-term mine planning, scheduling and optimization.
• Oversee resource modelling, grade control, survey accuracy, geotechnical monitoring and mine water management.
• Drive tonnage & grade reconciliation, variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams and provide technical reports to senior management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
• 8 to 12+ years of relevant mining technical experience; age below 45 years.
• Strong exposure to Mine Planning, Grade Control, Resource Modelling, Survey, Geotechnical and Reconciliation.
• Experience with Deswik / Datamine / Leapfrog / Surpac / Vulcan preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willing to relocate to Lubumbashi, DRC.
