Mines Planning & Operations Engineer

Qualification & Experience:-

• Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering.
• Valid First-Class Competency Certificate from IBM.
• 710 years of experience in open-pit limestone mining.
• Experience in exploration, geological modelling, reserve estimation, and short/medium/long-term mine planning.
• African mining experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Plan and manage short-, medium-, and long-term mine operations.
• Conduct exploration, geological evaluation and limestone reserve assessment.
• Monitor daily mining activities and achieve production and quality targets.
• Manage drilling, blasting, excavation, hauling, crushing and stockpile operations.
• Ensure compliance with mining, safety and environmental regulations.
• Monitor waste dumps, bench development, slope stability and rehabilitation.
• Coordinate with contractors, plant teams and other stakeholders.
• Manage mine surveys, production data, MIS and statutory reports.
• Support raw mix planning, resource optimization and cost reduction.
• Lead and develop mining teams while maintaining safe and efficient operations.
