About the Role:

The Mini Bar Attendant plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience within the accommodation and food services industry by ensuring that all mini bars in guest rooms are well-stocked, clean, and accurately billed. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to monitor inventory levels, replenish items promptly, and maintain accurate records of consumption. The attendant must interact courteously and professionally with guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to mini bar services. Working closely with housekeeping and front desk teams, the Mini Bar Attendant helps maintain seamless operations and contributes to overall guest satisfaction. Ultimately, this role supports the establishment’s reputation for excellent service by providing timely and efficient mini bar management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English to communicate clearly with guests and team members.

• Basic computational skills to accurately track inventory and billing information.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities to address guest needs effectively.

• Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles, particularly in accommodation or food services.

• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or inventory management software.

• Additional language skills to assist a diverse guest population.

• Certification in food safety or hospitality service.

• Ability to work cohesively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Regularly inspect and restock mini bars in guest rooms according to established standards and inventory guidelines.

• Maintain accurate records of mini bar usage and report discrepancies or damages to management promptly.

• Communicate effectively with guests to address questions, resolve issues, and provide information about mini bar offerings.

• Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff to coordinate room readiness and guest requests related to mini bars.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food and beverage items and ensure cleanliness of mini bar areas.
