Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mini-Kennel / Mini-Farm Help to join our team! This role is perfect for someone passionate about animal care, outdoor work, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for pets and farm animals alike. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care, handling animals with confidence, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our pet and farm facilities. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for animals and their owners while supporting the daily operations of our mini-kennel and mini-farm.

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, and monitor the health of animals in the kennel and farm areas, ensuring their well-being at all times
• Handle animals with care, including dog handling, animal restraint, and behavior management to promote calmness and safety
• Clean and sanitize kennels, animal enclosures, and farm spaces regularly to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, grooming, and basic veterinary assistance as needed
• Support outdoor work activities such as fencing, yard maintenance, and general farm upkeep
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely during animal transport or equipment handling through team lifting techniques
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and visitors about animal care routines

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable
• Experience in pet sitting, pet grooming, or animal care roles is a strong plus
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior is beneficial
• Kennel experience or working in a pet care facility is preferred
• Ability to handle animals confidently using proper restraint techniques
• Comfortable performing outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity required for animal handling and facility maintenance
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols in pet boarding environments
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and visitors
