Role Overview:

We're seeking an energetic, motivated and experienced controller to join our award-winning team in Feltham, West London. We work with over 500 of the best drivers in London and you’ll join a fantastic team of problem solvers. This role will usually involve 12 hour shifts on a four on, four off schedule.

Please not this role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.

Your main duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Despatching work and managing driver queries.
• Taking bookings and addressing customer queries via phone, email and other communication channels.
• Handling client feedback and resolving any situations that may arise.
• Managing driver inquiries in person, over the phone and by email.
• Advising drivers on best practices, vehicle suitability and other business related topics.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with drivers, customers and the office team.
• Leading and assisting members of the Customer Service team.
• Supporting other departments as needed.
• Performing any ad-hoc duties assigned by a manager.

Experience:

We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role with a Private Hire or Taxi Company. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in control operations within a minicab, chauffeur or other private hire company.
• Good hearing and a clear, confident, and polite telephone manner.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Good computer and keyboard skills.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Ability to handle difficult calls calmly and professionally.
• Flexibility and reliability.
• Awareness of confidentiality issues.
• Strong time-keeping.
• Team player with problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using platform-based computerised systems.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Highly organised with good time management skills.
